Siciliano’s Market, one of the premier specialty shops in Michigan, is hiring for a part-time sales associate position. The successful candidate will have an interest in and appreciation for craft beer, wine, spirits, hard cider, mead, cigars, homebrewing and/or winemaking. He or she will enjoy sharing their knowledge with, and learning from, a polite and eager customer base comprised of experts, enthusiasts, hobbyists and novices, not to mention a well-informed and easy-going staff.

Looking for a way into the craft beer and brewing industry? Siciliano’s Market could be it. Several past employees have moved directly from Siciliano’s into brewing/cellaring positions at esteemed breweries across Michigan, including Founders, Short’s and Vivant. Others have launched successful careers in brewing-related fields like distribution. Whether in the industry long term or just passing through, all employees become part of a rich tradition of talented people who have spent time behind the counter at Siciliano’s and who often return for legendary “store parties” at the boss’ house.

Interested candidates must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays. Existing knowledge of homebrewing and winemaking is a plus, but we will teach the right person. Must be friendly, customer-service oriented and get along well with others. Some lifting is involved.
