Upcoming Siciliano's Market Events- Spirit and Beer Tastings, Cigar Night and use of Fruit Crusher/Basket Press Days

I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday weekend. The market was busy all weekend thanks to many of you. I wanted to take this week to highlight some upcoming events that are either involved with Siciliano's or at the Market.

September 16th, 2022-Eastern Kille Distillery Spirit Tasting from 5:00- 7:00 pm

September 23rd, 2022- Barrel and Beam Tasting from 4:00-6:00 pm

October 6th, 2022- Cigar Night at Trail Point Brewing Company from 6:00-9:00pm

-Myself and Andy from Davidoff will be selling cigars to pair with Trail Point's delicious beers. We will have Camacho, Avo and Terio Fego brands. There will be deals throughout the night as cigars are purchased.

Andy and I recently did a cigar event at New Union Brewery. It was a heck of a time with great company, great beers and great cigars. Hope to see you at Trail Point on October 6th!

Featured Wines of the Week

Recanati Yasmin Red, $14.89/750ml- 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. Yasmin Red is a harmonious, flavorful red from the sun-kissed Mediterranean vineyards of Israel. Vineyards Cafayate, Salta, North of Argentina

Fermentation Fermented at max. temp. 14-18ºC for 12-30 days, in stainless steel tanks. Alcohol 13,3% vol

Acidity / pH 6,15 / 3,38

Tasting Notes Pale yellow color with greenish hues. Intense nose of passion fruit, citrus and freshly cut grass. Fresh, concentrated vegetal and tropical flavors on the palate. Long and persistent finish.

Food Pairing The fragrant qualities of Tilia Torrontés have a particular affinity for dishes featuring aromatic ingredients like lemongrass, cilantro, ginger, and star anise. This wine would be a fantastic companion to any dish served with herb seafood sauce or just a simply prepared dish of Fish in Cilantro.
